How it all started

We’re Army veterans who read a lot. We realized that publishers weren’t producing the kinds of books we liked to read. And we knew that we weren’t alone, so we decided to outflank the whole industry and start publishing these books ourselves.

Our story

With a background in writing and business, we built the kind of publishing company that we would trust with our own books. We built the company from the ground up, jettisoning a lot of “traditional” ways of doing things in favour of a faster, more agile, 21st century approach.

Our approach

We know how much effort goes into writing a book, and have few the disappointment as agents and publishers who don’t “get it” turn you down. We treat every book as if it was our own, and every author like a brother or sister-in-arms.
